Mission & Vision
Mission:
The Central Oregon Chapter of the Oregon Association for the Education of Young Children promotes high-quality early learning for all young children, birth through age 8, by connecting early childhood practice, policy, and research. We advance a diverse, dynamic early childhood profession and support all who care for, educate, and work on behalf of young children across our region.
Vision:
Our vision is a collaborative, inclusive early childhood community spanning Deschutes, Crook, and Jefferson counties, and the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. We imagine a region where the unique strengths of all communities are celebrated, every early childhood professional feels supported, and all young children grow up in welcoming environments that honor their potential.
