Our 2024 Partners
Central Oregon Community College offers a variety of different degree and certificate programs for students seeking careers in education and related fields. For students with an interest in early childhood education, including the early primary elementary years, the College offers courses and programs with a foundation in the theoretical, social, historical, and legal aspects of early childhood programming.
The Oregon Association for the Education of Young Children is a proud affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Our mission is to promote high-quality, early learning for all young children, birth through age 8, by connecting early childhood practice, policy, and research. We advance a diverse, dynamic early childhood profession and support all who care for, educate, and work on behalf of young children.
The Early Learning Hub of Central Oregon is a regional cross-sector partnership working collectively to support parents and to establish a solid foundation for children’s long-term success. The Hub serves Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson Counties and for mutually agreed upon strategies, The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs (Tribes).
The Central Oregon STEM Hub is a partnership connecting regional pre K-12 education, higher education, industry, and community partners to catalyze opportunities and exploration in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
NeighborImpact Child Care Resources provides high quality training and professional development to the early learning community of Deschutes, Crook, and Jefferson Counties as well as the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. We help recruit and retain child care businesses, both home and center-based, to help build supply of high-quality child care across Central Oregon. We strive to develop strong, supportive relationships and trust with our diverse community of early learning professionals.
MountainStar Family Relief Nursery’s mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect through community support and therapeutic services that help vulnerable children and families succeed.
We envision communities across Central Oregon where child abuse and neglect are reduced and where parents are supported in nurturing their children’s emotional, physical, and intellectual development in a safe environment.
Little Beavs offers an engaging, rich and grounding experience. Our program is designed to help your child develop individually, socially and academically – not only so they are well prepared for kindergarten — but also for a lifetime of learning and growing as capable, dynamic individuals.

Head Start and Early Head Start integrate high-quality early education with critical services such as medical visits; hearing, vision and dental checks; meals and nutrition; and family advocacy.
NeighborImpact’s Head Start program operates 12 sites in Redmond, Bend, La Pine, and Prineville. Early Head Start operates as a home-based program and is offered in Redmond, Bend, La Pine, Sisters and Prineville.
Community Education at COCC offers personal enrichment opportunities to nurture and grow all interests — no matter your age, background, or experience level. Classes are engaging and diverse, and we offer both in-person and online learning opportunities. Studies have shown that continuing your education keeps your brain healthy and helps you feel connected, fulfilled, and happy. Bring a friend and engage with like minds.
