Central Oregon Community College offers a variety of different degree and certificate programs for students seeking careers in education and related fields. For students with an interest in early childhood education, including the early primary elementary years, the College offers courses and programs with a foundation in the theoretical, social, historical, and legal aspects of early childhood programming.
The Oregon Association for the Education of Young Children is a proud affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Our mission is to promote high-quality, early learning for all young children, birth through age 8, by connecting early childhood practice, policy, and research. We advance a diverse, dynamic early childhood profession and support all who care for, educate, and work on behalf of young children.
The Early Learning Hub of Central Oregon is a regional cross-sector partnership working collectively to support parents and to establish a solid foundation for children’s long-term success. Little Beavs offers an engaging, rich and grounding experience. Our program is designed to help your child develop individually, socially and academically – not only so they are well prepared for kindergarten — but also for a lifetime of learning and growing as capable, dynamic individuals.
Children learn through play. At Little Beavs, children feel free to express themselves and explore in a creative, safe environment where active play leads to active learning. Your child’s extraordinary wealth of abilities and potential, and strength and creativity will be developed through a program that encourages creative intelligence, free thought, and sensitivity and awareness.
